DESCRIPTION: SORCERER MICKEY HAT

This 122' tall size 606 and 7/8 sorcerer’s hat would have required a 350' tall character to wear it. Concealed within this 25,000 man-hour project is more than 10,000' of EMT conduit and 22,000' of PVC conduit, some of which was 12" diameter. To quickly and economically access the hard to reach areas within the hat, ERMCO designed a rappelling system for use by our technicians certified in high access rappelling. Thus, saving thousands of dollars in large lift rental and passing these savings on to our customer.

ERMCO’s scope of work included facility power and lighting, emergency power and lighting, show lighting and power, show and lighting control wiring, audio, telephone and data, fiber optic cabling, fire alarm, HVAC controls, lightning protection and automated monitoring and control systems.
