DESCRIPTION: ORANGE COUNTY CONVENTION CENTER

On time quality performance and just 15 months to construct this 500,000 sq. ft addition to the Orange County Convention Center proved to be a challenge to the entire construction team!

The project consists of a complete electrical power and convention event distribution infrastructure system in an underground tunnel network to support a series of 50,000 sq. ft (+/-) exposition halls with folding walls that will open to a gigantic convention hall. ERMCO’s scope of work included lighting, lighting and dimming control, power distribution and power systems, life safety and emergency evacuation systems, fire alarm, HVAC controls, lightning protection and convention power distribution systems.

This “on time” reputation prompted the constructors of the most recent 2,000,000 sq. ft. addition to the Orange County Convention Center to employ ERMCO of Florida to support them in insuring the successful timely 2003 opening of this facility again!
